Yoga From The Heart: Japan Earthquake Relief on Sat Mar 19th

Dear Yoga In The Parkers,

To help the people who've been affected by the earthquake & tsunami, this Saturday, March 19th Yoga In The Park becomes Yoga From The Heart, a by-donation class.

All proceeds from this class will go to the International Medical Corps relief efforts in Japan.

Yoga From The Heart
A Yoga In The Park special event for Japan Earthquake Relief.

Date: Saturday March 19th
Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Fee: By donation
Venue: Meet at Jacob Ballas Childrens Garden, Singapore Botanic Gardens [Kheam Hock Road, near NUS Law Faculty]
Class: 90 minutes of Yoga In the Park goodness and kirtan.
To book: Email yogaintheparksg at gmail dot com

**Places are limited

In addition, 10% of any private classes or ten-class pass purchased between now and Saturday will be donated to earthquake relief. This is especially for those who can't make it on Saturday but want to chip in. The entire donation will be made online through Globalgiving.org.

YITP always finishes with a song, and this time jazz singer Alemay Fernandez, aka my big sister, will help me close the class.

I know we're all feeling helpless and sad. We care because we are all connected and when one of us suffers, all of us suffer. Compassion is part of our condition. Helplessness doesn't have to be.

Come, and dedicate this Saturday's practice to the people who's lives are now in complete tumult.

I really hope to see you there. Please help spread the word.

Love & light,

S

p.s. Thank you Jeremy Chia for turning around the Yoga From The Heart logo overnight. You're awesome jerps.
